Carl Louise De Guzman

I'm a Computer Engineer and a recent graduate (Class of 2026) from the Technological University of the Philippines – Manila.

My playground? Anything that involves building things that work — whether it's deploying edge AI models for traffic monitoring, automating an IoT hydroponics setup on an ESP32, or managing Linux servers for fun (yes, really).

When I'm not coding or soldering circuits, you'll probably find me volunteering with the Red Cross Youth or proctoring assessments for schools across the country. Leadership isn't just a buzzword for me — it's something I practice.

AI Engineer Intern

DOST - Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI)

Deployed complex Edge AI vision models (YOLOv8) across microcomputing platforms including Raspberry Pi 5, NVIDIA Jetson devices, and Hailo-8L accelerators. Executed hardware-software integration for an automated traffic monitoring system involving custom PCB fabrication, IP camera PoE networking, data annotation, and full-stack backend development for internal R&D tools.
